Astrid Buchhammer: Welcome to my blogger. My name is Astrid Buchhammer and I am originally from Germany but have lived in Canada and Oregon in the United States. I have been painting since 2010. I studied at Thompson River Art University in Canada. I have four children and a wonderful husband with whom I recently moved back to Germany with after spending 6 years in the US, which is why I have not posted many paintings lately as we have been very busy enrolling our children in schools and unpacking and finding a house. I have also been in a hospital for the past 8 months due to surgeries and therapy. Now that I am getting better again, I will definitely start painting more. Thank you very much to all my collectors around the world who have inspired me and helped me to come as far as I have. Warmly, Astrid.
